Nicole Bala is an experienced paralegal and the owner of Distinctive Legal Services, providing paralegal and secretarial services to law firms primarily in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York, since July 2002. Currently a paralegal at Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, P.C. since January 2020, Nicole has previously held extensive experience in personal injury law, real estate, estates, and matrimonial law, including a role at Mandler & Sieger, LLP managing cases from inception to closing. Additional experience includes positions at the Law Offices of Michael LoRusso, Certilman, Balin, Adler & Hyman, and Bellavia & Kassel, focusing on legal drafting, client and court communications, and team training. Nicole holds a BS in General Studies from Teikyo Post University and an AAS in Office Management with a Legal Division emphasis from SUNY - Farmingdale.

Since 1983, Mr. Feldman has been the managing partner of the firm. Herb Kramer is a partner whose legal expertise is focused on Estate, Probate, Wills, Trusts and Real Estate. Mr. Monaco is a partner with diverse experience in both criminal and civil matters as well as the day to day responsibility of firm operations. The firm primarily worked for public sector unions and in 1980 the firm designed and implemented a legal plan for the New York State United Teachers and we continue to provide services to that plan on a national basis to date.
