Jose Fernandez Rubio

Jose Fernandez Rubio has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Their most recent position was as a Partner and Chief Technology Officer at Fellow Funders, where they have been since 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Banco Santander from 2004 to 2016, holding the role of Processes and Change Management Senior Manager. Their responsibilities included managing relationships with the banks of the group, implementing common methodologies, and delivering training courses.

Before their time at Banco Santander, Jose worked at Steria as an Outsourcing Services Presales Manager, where they implemented a system to manage outsourcing business and increased the win ratio of offers. Jose also had a significant tenure at HP as an Account Service Manager in the Outsourcing Division, leading service definitions and customer offers.

Earlier in their career, Jose held positions at Asnef-Equifax, where they served as the Head of the Projects Department and Head of the Software Development Department, managing teams and improving project visibility. Jose also worked at IBM Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant, focusing on organizational improvement and process redesign in the banking and utilities sectors.

Jose began their career at Bossard Consultores Financieros as a Consultant in the banking area and later worked at KPMG Peat Marwick as a Consultant in the management area, leading teams and implementing productivity measurement systems. Jose started their professional journey at Banca March as an Organization Specialist, involved in training sessions and application development.

Throughout their career, Jose has demonstrated expertise in process management, relationships with stakeholders, and leadership in various sectors, making him a well-rounded professional.

Jose Fernandez Rubio completed their Degree in Economics at Universidad CEU San Pablo from 1979 to 1984. Jose then pursued Sales Management and Marketing at IE Business School from 1980 to 1981. In 1992 to 1993, they attended Madrid Business School for Professionals specific programs in Strategy, Change Management, and Human Resources Management. Finally, in 2002 to 2003, they enrolled in the Executive Development Program (PDD) at IESE Business School.
