Josh Newberg

Josh Newberg currently serves as the Idaho Wrestling Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a position held since March 2022, focusing on leadership development through wrestling. Previously, Newberg worked as a Project Manager for National Programs & Maintenance at Albertsons Companies and gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boise State University, specializing in the effects of low intensity vibrations on cell structure and performance. Newberg also has a history of coaching, having directed wrestling at Centennial High School and served as an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the Nampa School District. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boise State University, along with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. As a former Boise State wrestler and three-year starter, Newberg attributes significant personal development to the sport, emphasizing dedication and teamwork throughout the journey.
