Daan Becker

Daan Becker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daan is currently the CEO at felyx, a position they have held since March 2023. Before that, they served as the Head of Operations at felyx from October 2022 to February 2023. Prior to their promotion, they worked as the Head of Strategic Projects at felyx from January 2022 to September 2022, where they also held the role of Global Head of Expansion a.i. from May to July 2018 and Global Head of Sustainability since November 2018.

Before joining felyx, Daan was employed as a Strategy Consultant at McKinsey & Company from September 2016 to March 2021. Daan also worked as a Junior Consultant at Varova Investments from May 2015 to June 2016. Daan gained teaching experience as a Student Teaching Assistant in Finance at Erasmus School of Economics from October 2014 to December 2014. Additionally, they participated in a research project at Shell from November 2013 to April 2014 and interned as an Analyst in Corporate Finance | M&A at Boer & Croon Corporate Finance from September 2013 to December 2013.

Outside of their professional career, Daan served as a Member of a full-time board at Delftsche Studenten Sociëteit "Phoenix" from 2011 to 2012. Daan was also a member of the Commissie van Bijstand at Delftsch Studenten Corps, where they organized the introduction period for 350 freshmen in 2010.

Daan Becker has an extensive educational background in economics and finance. Daan completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Financial Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2014 to 2016. Prior to their master's degree, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics & Business Economics from the same university, graduating in 2014. In addition, they have some educational experience in architecture, having attended Delft University of Technology in 2008 and 2009.

Before pursuing higher education, Daan attended Willem de Zwijger College Bussum from 2002 to 2008, where they obtained their VWO degree. Daan'sVWO curriculum included subjects such as Nature & Health, Economics 1, and Economics 2.

Aside from their formal education, Daan has also obtained certifications in Introduction to SQL from DataCamp in March 2021 and PADI Advanced Open Water from PADI. The specific month and year of obtaining the PADI certification are not provided.
