Femern A/S is a subsidiary of the Danish, state-owned Sund & Bælt Holding A/S, which has experience from the construction of the fixed links across the Great Belt and the Øresund.

The Design and Engineering Team at Femern A/S is responsible for the detailed planning and engineering of the fixed link between Denmark and Germany across the Fehmarnbelt. This includes creating and coordinating complex design models, managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, and ensuring the integration of control and monitoring systems to optimize construction and operational efficiency.
