Layara Avila is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Ayara Woman, as well as leading the FemTech Accelerator Program at FemTech Lab. With a background in nursing and midwifery, Layara has held positions at various healthcare organizations, including Hospital Santa Joana and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, Layara has experience in digital health and served as an Ambassador Startup at Digital Health Intelligence Ltd. layara holds degrees in Nursing from Universidade de São Paulo and the University of Alberta, with a focus on high-risk pregnancy, postnatal care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
