Franklin Monzon

Dr. Franklin Monzon specializes in business planning and development for new and turnaround ventures, with an emphasis in manufacturing optimization, semiconductor device processing and device development. He has deep expertise in Si, GaAs, InP, GaN, and SiC processing and is an ASQ-Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified ISO 9000 auditor. He has planned and implemented quality systems such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis, 8D, and defect reduction activities for various firms such as Intel Corporation and Global Communications Semiconductors, LLC. Dr. Monzon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and Physics. He received the Ph.D. degree in applied physics from the California Institute of Technology and holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Monzon is a member of the IEEE and ASQ. He is a named inventor of five US patents on semiconductor processing and devices.
