Hovik Nazaryan

Hovik Nazaryan has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to 2016. Hovik started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they led shock and vibration testing for the Mars Science Lab frame and was a member of the Next Generation Payload Development Team.

In 2008, Hovik joined The Aerospace Corporation as a Structural Engineer. Hovik performed coupled loads analysis on Atlas V and Delta IV launch vehicles and coupled FEM spacecraft models to launch vehicle models, applying force and recovering responses.

In 2012, Hovik co-founded FemtoMetrix, Inc., a metrology company specializing in time dependent electric field induced optical Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) for the semiconductor industry. As a co-founder, they successfully led the development of multiple generations of cleanroom assembly line ready tools.

Most recently, Hovik has been working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Sierra Lobo, Inc., starting in October 2016. Further details about their role are not provided.

Hovik Nazaryan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing and Design at UCLA. Hovik then went on to obtain their Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Dynamics from the same university, which they completed between 2006 and 2008.
