Narain Arora

Dr. Narain Arora has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industries. His areas of expertise are device design system, product development and R&D. He started his career as Senior Scientific Officer at Solid State Physics, New Delhi, India in 1975. He then moved to the US to join Digital Equipment Corporation and became a Consulting Engineer and Senior Manager. He next was appointed as Chief Scientist at Simplex Solutions Inc and later became Vice President, Technology. At Simplex, he was instrumental in developing new products for IC chip design tools. His previous appointment was as Vice President, (R&D) at CADENCE Design Systems. Dr. Narain Arora was also the Chairman of Siprosys Inc. a company developing AFM based electrical system for process characterization in an IC manufacturing environment and SVP of SilTerra, a Malaysian foundry.
