Tyler Rubin

While studying as an undergrad at Harvard, Tyler worked as a student researcher on the CDF experiment at the National FermiLab particle accelerator outside Chicago. After graduating cum laude with an A.B. in Physics, Tyler worked as an investor at an internal hedge fund for JPMorgan in New York, NY, specializing in technology and telecommunication equities and debt. Simultaneously he cofounded Tysam Networks with Sameer Parwani, and developed a social networking platform. With his partners, he launched college based social networking websites Funki.jp and iStudent.co.il in Japan and Israel respectively. Tysam Networks merged with EQAL in early 2008. EQAL was acquired by Everyday Health, Inc. (NYSE: EVDY) for $25m in 2012.
