Laoise Murphy

Laoise Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Laoise currently holds the role of VP of Product Operations at Fenergo, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Software Development at Fenergo from July 2017 to August 2021.

Before joining Fenergo, Laoise worked at Citi for seven years, starting in October 2010. Laoise held the position of Applications Development Group Manager (SVP) in the TTS Technology division until June 2017.

From 2002 to 2010, Laoise worked at Avaya, where they had various roles. Laoise started as a Senior Software Engineer in March 2002 and later became a Technical Lead from January 2003 to October 2005. Laoise then served as a Senior Technical Manager from October 2005 to September 2010.

Laoise's career began at Bell Labs Lucent Technologies in 1996, where they initially worked as a Software Engineer from October 1996 to September 1998. Laoise later rejoined the company as a Senior Software Developer (Contract) from September 1999 to October 2001.

Before their time at Bell Labs, Laoise worked at Kadius as a Senior Software Engineer from September 1998 to September 1999.

Laoise Murphy completed their Bachelor of Arts (Mod) degree in Natural Sciences with a specialization in Chemistry at Trinity College Dublin, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. Afterward, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Computing at Imperial College London, where they studied from 1995 to 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in July 2011.
