Dinesh Ramanathan

Dinesh Ramanathan is the lead lawyer for Fengate’s real estate group and provides support to other divisions at Fengate, including the corporate and private equity groups. He provides legal counsel on investment funds, joint ventures, transactions, finance, asset management and corporate matters. Since joining Fengate, he has closed over $1B of transactions including the Commercial Income Fund, Multifamily Income Fund, Rail Deck District, Rose Garden Residences, LiUNA Gardens, and the Homestead development.

Prior to joining Fengate, Dinesh was at Ivanhoe Cambridge where he was the lead lawyer and negotiator for large-scale real estate, commercial and technology transactions with Canadian and international corporations. Previously, he was in private practice, engaged in corporate, commercial and real estate transactions.

Dinesh earned his Hons. B.A. at the University of Toronto and his L.L.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School; he was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008.
