Rafael Urena

Rafael Urena has a strong background in engineering and quality assurance. Rafael started their career at Power-One as an AC-DC Quality Manager and worked there for four years. Rafael then moved on to SMART Modular Technologies, where they served as a Quality Assurance Manager. Following that, Rafael joined Checkpoint Systems as an Engineering Manager, where they implemented the 5S methodology and developed manufacturing processes for new products. Rafael then transitioned to R. E. Phelon, where they held positions including GE Operations Program Manager and G.E. Plant Manager. Currently, Rafael is the Quality and Engineering Director at Fenix Manufacturing Solutions.

Rafael Urena obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra between 1983 and 1988. Rafael then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra between 1993 and 1996.
