Marko Polunic

Marko Polunic has extensive work experience in various industries. Marko is currently the Managing Director at Fenix24 since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at CrowdStrike as the Director of Business Development - EMEA from January 2020 to March 2023. At CrowdStrike, they were responsible for expanding the company's insurance and legal relationships in the EMEA region and also handled professional services sales and support.

Before their time at CrowdStrike, Marko held multiple roles at Munich Re (Group). From December 2017 to December 2019, they served as the Cyber Reinsurance Practice Lead & Senior Underwriter. From July 2011 to November 2017, they were a US Casualty Treaty Underwriter. Marko started their career at Munich Re as a Graduate Trainee from January 2010 to June 2011.

In addition, Marko has experience in the start-up sector as the Co-Founder of PRIMAR - European Marina Booking Platform from January 2016 to August 2016. Marko also worked at Baader Bank AG for a brief period in 2009 and had an internship at both Allianz and KPMG in 2008.

Marko Polunic completed their education at the University of Tübingen from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Diplom-Kaufmann with a specialization in Quantitative Business Administration. Additionally, they attended California State University, Chico from 2006 to 2007 to study departments including Mathematics, Economics, and Business Administration, although they did not acquire a specific degree during this time.
