Selja Kohonen has extensive work experience in the marketing and customer experience field. Selja started their career at Nordea in 2000 as an Assistant, where they worked in marketing communication, event marketing, and sponsorship projects. Selja then moved on to become a Specialist in customer relationship marketing and eventually became a Service Manager, managing service and sales teams for household customers. In 2008, Selja joined Fennia as a Marketing Manager and later took on roles as HR Partner and Director of Customer Experience and Marketing. Currently, they hold the position of Marketing Director, focusing on digital business and customer experience at Fennia.

Selja Kohonen completed their Bachelor's degree in International Marketing at LUT University, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. It is unclear if they pursued any further education after this.
