Andres Soto

Andres Soto has a wide range of work experience in various industries. Andres started their career in 1993 at the Departamento Nacional de Planeación as the Head of the Justice and Security Unit. Andres later joined Oxy as a Government Affairs Manager from 2000 to 2002, and then worked as Vice Ministro at the Ministerio de Defensa Nacional de Colombia from 2002 to 2004. Afterwards, they joined Cerrejon as the VP P40 Expansion Project from 2004 to 2017. Most recently, they became the Chief Executive Officer at FENOCO S.A. in 2017.

Andres Soto has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Universidad de Los Andes, which they obtained from 1986 to 1991. From 1994 to 1995, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in National Security Studies at Georgetown University. More recently, in 2014 and 2015, Andres completed an Executive MBA at IMD, earning a Master in Business Administration.
