Vinayak Deshpande currently serves as the Head of Supply Chain Management at First Energy, a Thermax Group Company, leading Procurement, Contracts, and Logistics for renewable energy projects since October 2024. Prior to this role, Vinayak was the General Manager and Head of Procurement at Sprng Energy, where the focus was on Purchase Management and Legal Compliance. From January 2016 to April 2023, Vinayak held the position of General Manager at Enrich Energy Pvt. Ltd., overseeing Tenders, Sourcing, and Strategic Relationship Management as part of the Senior Leadership Team. Vinayak's earlier experience includes serving as BU Head and Associate Director at MarketsandMarkets, where responsibilities included P&L management and consultancy for Fortune 500 clients, as well as a role as AGM - Marketing at Schneider Electric, managing regional P&L for Industrial Automation products. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from ICFAI Business School and a Post Graduate Diploma in Steam Engineering from Forbes Marshall.
