Joana G. Vicente is a Senior Plant Bacteriologist at Fera Science Ltd. since November 2019, with extensive experience in plant pathology and crop production systems. At the University of Warwick, Joana Vicente has held positions as a Visiting Academic and Postdoctoral Research Scientist since 2004, contributing to projects focused on sustainable resistance strategies in oilseed mustard. Previous roles include serving as a Crop Production Systems Scientist at the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board and a Research Scientist at Horticulture Research International, where Joana Vicente investigated bacterial canker in cherry trees. Joana Vicente holds a PhD in Plant Pathology from Instituto Superior de Agronomia and multiple postgraduate certificates from the University of Warwick.
