Ushantha Jayalath is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the tyre and engineering industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at FERENTINO since June 2017, Ushantha previously held the position of Deputy General Manager at RIGID TYRE from June 2017 to June 2020. Prior roles include Senior Technical Manager at CEAT Tyres Limited and Manager of R&D and Process Technology at Kinetics (Pvt) Ltd. Ushantha began a career as an Executive at Elastomeric Engineering Company Limited. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Management of Technology and a Master of Science in Chemical and Process Technology from the University of Moratuwa, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Early education includes O/L and A/L qualifications in Mathematics from Ananda Sastralaya, Matugama.
