Glenn Arthurs

Glenn Arthurs is an experienced mechanical fitter and engineer with a career spanning over four decades in the marine engineering sector. Currently employed at Ferguson Marine (Port Glasgow) Limited since August 2019, Glenn has honed skills working on ships and in a workshop environment. Previous roles include mechanical engineer at Rolls-Royce, where responsibilities involved inspection and fitting tasks for various engine aspects, and roles at BAE Systems as fitter/inspector and mechanical engineer, focusing on navy frigates and trident submarines. Glenn's career began with an apprenticeship in marine engineering at Govan Shipbuilders, laying a strong foundation in both on-board and workshop environments. Education was completed at Anniesland College from 1978 to 1982.
