Rachel McLaughlin Engtech

Rachel McLaughlin EngTech is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the marine industry, currently serving as a Loftsperson and Fabricator at Ferguson Marine (Port Glasgow) Limited since August 2016. Rachel began this career as an Apprentice Fabricator and has developed valuable expertise in fabrication and shipbuilding. In addition to practical experience, Rachel is pursuing a BEng Hons in Engineering, Design and Manufacture at the University of Strathclyde, expected to graduate in May 2025. Previous experience includes working as a Mortgage Underwriter at RBS from April 2015 to August 2016. Rachel also holds an HNC in Fabrication, Welding and Inspection from West College Scotland, completed between 2017 and 2019.
