Stephen McAllister has a diverse work experience in the field of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management. Stephen has held various leadership positions in different companies, including Ferguson Marine (Port Glasgow) Limited, TEXO, Hydraulic Control Systems Glenrothe, CMI Offshore Limited, TechnipFMC, Technip, Weatherford, and WOOD GROUP GAS TURBINES LIMITED. Their roles have included Head of HSE, HSE Manager, Interim Health & Safety Manager, QHSE Manager, Project QHSE Manager, Project HSE Advisor, Offshore HSE Advisor, HSE Superintendent, Senior QHSSE Advisor, and QHSE Manager. Stephen has gained extensive experience in a range of industries, including engineering, oil & gas, manufacturing, and offshore operations.
Stephen McAllister has a diverse education history spanning several fields. In 1992, they completed a Modern Apprenticeship at Dundee and Angus College. Stephen then attended Linlathen High from 1987 to 1991. In 2007, Stephen earned a NEBOSH certification in the Management of Health and Safety from ROSPA House. The following year, they obtained an IOSH certification in Health and Safety from the same institution. In 2009, Stephen attended Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline and became a Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor 9001:2008. In 2012, they completed an Incident Investigation program at Weatherford Aberdeen and became a Certified Quality Professional API Q2 in Quality Management from Weatherford Houston. In 2014, they furthered their expertise in various fields with a Kelvin Topset Senior Investigator program at Glasgow Kelvin College and an ISM Maritime Lead Auditor program at Warsash Maritime Academy. Lastly, in 2017, Stephen attended Falck Safety Services to pursue Offshore Survival training.
