Phillipp Materna

Phillipp Materna is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership and design roles across various prestigious companies. Currently serving as Head of Design at ferm LIVING since December 2023, Phillipp previously held the same title at Michael Anastassiades from November 2020 to December 2023, after serving as a Senior Designer there from May 2016 to January 2019. Prior experience includes a position as Lead Designer and Producer at BOCCI from March 2011 to April 2016, and earlier roles in fabrication and craftsmanship at christian woo design + build, FB Interiors, and Materna Ceramics. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture candidate at The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, complemented by studies at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
