Sahil Desai

Sahil Desai has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Sahil began their career as a Medical Representative at Novartis India Ltd in 2000. Sahil later joined Cipla as part of the Product Management Team in 2003. Sahil then worked at Sandoz Pvt Ltd as a Product Manager from 2004 to 2008. Sahil continued to advance their career at Sterling Biotech Ltd, where they served as a Sr. Manager of Business Development & Strategy from 2008 to 2011. Sahil then joined sanofi-aventis as a Senior Product Manager from 2011 to 2014. Currently, Sahil is employed at Fermenta Biotech Limited. Sahil has held various roles within the company, including Deputy General Manager of International Marketing from 2014 to 2017, General Manager of International Marketing from 2017 to 2020, and currently holds the position of Vice President of International Business Development & Marketing.

Sahil Desai completed their M.M.M. degree in Marketing Management from R. K. Chetana's Institute of Management Research from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from S.V.B's College of Pharmacy, Dombivili, between 1996 and 2000. Sahil also completed their HSC from R. D. National College in 1994, majoring in Science. Sahil completed their SSC from St. Stanislaus High School in 1994, following the School Education Maharashtra Board curriculum.
