Joel Dice is a software engineer at Fermyon, currently focused on Spin. He has a background in distributed systems, compilers, language runtimes, and real-time communications. He’s the primary developer of Avian, an embeddable Java virtual machine. Outside of work, he tutors high school math students on a weekly basis.
