Mattias Schmidt

Mattias Schmidt is an experienced IT security professional with a diverse background that spans over 19 years. Currently serving as the Director of Business Unit Security and Head of IT-Security at fernao magellan GmbH since October 2013, Mattias has also held roles such as Lead Consultant IT-Security and Technical Account Manager within the same company. Previously, Mattias worked at SYNLAB Holding Deutschland GmbH from October 2009 to September 2013 as a Project Lead and Senior Specialist in IT-Security. Mattias began their career at GFO Kliniken Rhein-Berg VPH as a System Network Security Engineer, followed by a position as a System Engineer at Bewotec GmbH. Mattias holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln.
