Susan Neugent is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and public policy. Currently serving as President Emeritus at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, a position held since September 1997 following their tenure as President and CEO. Prior to their role at Fernbank, Susan Neugent was Senior Vice President at the Metro Atlanta Chamber from May 1986 to September 1997, where responsibility included guiding staff and volunteers on public policy matters related to transportation, environment, education, culture, and governmental affairs. Susan Neugent holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Policy from Emory University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
