Samantha Csapilla

Samantha Csapilla has a diverse work experience in the fields of quality control, research, and laboratory management. Samantha is currently the Director of Quality and R&D at Fernway, where they oversee the quality and research development. Prior to this, they worked as a Laboratory Manager at Fernway and as a Senior Production Specialist. Samantha also served as the Director of Extraction at Kria Botanicals and as a Laboratory Testing Manager at Continuum, LLC. Earlier in their career, Samantha was a Laboratory Supervisor & Lead Analyst at Champlain Valley Dispensary & Southern Vermont Wellness, Inc. and a Quality Control Chemist. Samantha began their career as a Research Technician at Avatar Energy, LLC, where they worked in progressively responsible roles, starting as an intern and eventually becoming a Research Technician III.

Samantha Csapilla completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science: Ecological Design at the University of Vermont from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained the International Certification in Permaculture Design from Prospect Rock Permaculture in April 2012. Samantha also has two certifications from Isolate Extraction Systems Inc. The first one is a CO2 Safety certification obtained in January 2020, and the second one is an IES Certification in CO2 solvent properties, safety, extraction, troubleshooting, best practices, and SOP development acquired in October 2019.
