Jim Gill has extensive experience in education, environmental science, and camp management. Currently serving as Owner/Director of Fernwood Cove, an all-girls overnight summer camp in Harrison, Maine, since April 2004, Jim fosters a tradition-oriented yet contemporary camp environment. Prior to this role, Jim worked as a Field Supervisor for Alaskan Observers, Inc., overseeing operations and logistics for fisheries observers in Alaska. Previous experience includes teaching Grade 9 Science at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and serving as a Fisheries Observer for NOAA, where responsibilities entailed providing data for the management of North Pacific Fisheries. Jim's foundational military experience includes serving as a Construction Mechanic in the US Navy Seabees. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from Unity Environmental University.
