Geoff Cowper-Smith serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Fero International Inc. since August 2021, where responsibilities include managing the legal function and advising the CEO. Prior to this role, Geoff held the same title at Aleafia Health from February 2019 to July 2021, overseeing all legal matters and advising the executive leadership team and Board of Directors. Between October 2010 and January 2019, Geoff was General Counsel at Goodmans LLP, where a strong corporate, commercial, private M&A, and private equity practice was developed, with a specialization in technology transactions. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Legal Researcher at Richard H. McLaren and founding Simple Klick Design, a web design and IT services company. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Western University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo.
