Alexia Boro

Alexia Boro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communication, education, and cultural initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of The Home of The Human Safety Net, Alexia has played a pivotal role in various organizations, including as a Teacher and Coordinator of the Master Class at IED Venezia since 2015. Additional contributions include membership in the Leonardo Group at Science Gallery Venice and positions such as Professional Partner at Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana and Consigliere at Sezione Turismo di Confindustria Venezia e Rovigo. Previously, Alexia held senior roles at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection as Director of Communications and External Affairs and Press Officer, alongside serving on the Board of Associazione Alumni Ca' Foscari. Alexia's academic background includes a PhD in History of Japan and a Visiting Research Scholar position at the International Research Center for Japanese Studies, complemented by a degree in Oriental Language and Literature.
