Gabrielle Ferrara has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gabrielle started their career as an O&O Associate Program Manager at AOL in February 2012 and worked until September 2013. From September 2013 to March 2015, they served as a Digital Planning Manager - Direct & Programmatic at Dow Jones. Following this, they joined Rubicon Project as a Senior Manager, Seller Accounts for a few months from March 2015 to October 2015.

Gabrielle then transitioned to the fashion industry and became President & Interim CEO of a B2B fashion technology startup called Runthrough from October 2015 to October 2016. In November 2016, they joined Ferrara Manufacturing as the Chief Operating Officer. At Ferrara Manufacturing, they focus on utilizing advanced technologies and processes to produce luxury garments.

In addition to their work at Ferrara Manufacturing, Gabrielle serves as the Executive Director of GCSA Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting businesses in New York City's fashion ecosystem. Gabrielle has been in this role since April 2017. More recently, starting in January 2020, they took on the role of City Advisor of Technology at NYC Manufacturing and Industrial Innovation Council.

In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum, Inc. in July 2016.
