Kristen Coar

Kristen Coar has a diverse work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Kristen is currently the Vice President of Procurement at Ferrara since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Viega LLC as the Head of Procurement, where they built strategic sourcing capabilities and managed supplier relationships. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Global Director of Procurement at Prologis, overseeing strategic sourcing activities and savings for the company. Kristen also has experience as a Senior Consultant at McKinsey & Company, specializing in procurement across various industries. Kristen started their career at ExxonMobil, managing global chemicals sourcing, and previously worked as a Supply and Logistics Officer in the US Navy, coordinating parts logistics for Navy ships.

Kristen Coar holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Homeland Security from San Diego State University, graduating in 2013. Kristen's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Kristen has obtained several certifications, including a Supply Chain Procurement Certificate from ASCM Twin Cities Chapter, a Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University, and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
