Robert Beard

Robert Beard is an experienced maintenance professional currently serving as Maintenance Shift Manager and Interim Head of Maintenance at Ferrero since January 2024. Prior to this role, Robert has held various positions including Multiskilled Engineer at Thorntons since December 2015, Area Maintenance Manager at Ferrero from March 2018 to June 2020, and Technician at Nestlé for nearly a year. Robert's career in engineering began at Thorntons, where Robert transitioned from Engineering Apprentice to Electrical Engineer from September 2004 to April 2012. Robert also worked as a Production Engineer at Imperial Tobacco until early redundancy in January 2015. Robert holds multiple qualifications, including an HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from West Nottinghamshire College, as well as a BTEC National Certificate from Chesterfield College.
