Alexey Palazhchenko has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting from 2011, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where they developed backend services and launched the Skype Video Mail service. From 2012 to 2013, at Express 42, they worked as an Expert, developing DevOps tools and services. Alexey then became the CTO at CROICE in 2013, where they worked on an audio broadcast platform turned social network. In 2014, at mc² software, they were a Lead Software Development Engineer, launching the SMOTRI+ sports video platform. In 2015, they joined Synqq, Inc. as a Software Engineer, supporting and developing backend code in Python and Django. Alexey also worked on a new backend in Java 8. In the same year, they transitioned to mc² software, where they worked as a Lead Software Development Engineer, leading the backend team and launching the new iteration of the video platform. In 2016, at Restream, they worked as a Lead Software Development Engineer, developing an IIoT platform. From 2017 to 2021, at Percona, they held various roles, including Technical Lead and Backend Architect. Currently, in 2021, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer at FerretDB.
Alexey Palazhchenko attended the Sarov State Institute of Physics and Technology from 2004 to 2005. After that, they enrolled at the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) and completed their studies there from 2005 to 2010. Alexey Palazhchenko also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster®™ certification from SCRUM ALLIANCE® in June 2011.
