Vitalii Lisovenko

Senior Independent Non-executive Director at Ferrexpo

Vitalii Lisovenko is a Senior Independent Non-executive Director at Ferrexpo. Prior to this, they served as an Alternate Director at the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank from November 2014 to December 2021. Vitalii was also a Board Member and Director of State Sector & Structured Projects at Alfa Bank Ukraine from December 2010 to March 2014.

Lisovenko began their career as a Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine from March 2005 to August 2006. In this role, they oversaw the state debt office, financial markets, insurance regulations, and international financial institutions liasons (IMF, IBRD, EBRD). Vitalii then served as the Head of Innovative Projects at Ukreximbank from August 2006 to December 2010.

In January 2005, Lisovenko was appointed as the Mission Head for the Trade & Economic Mission for the Ukrainian Embassy in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and NI. Vitalii held this role until March 2005. Vitalii is also an Associate Professor at Kiev state economic university, a position they have held since September 2010.

Vitalii Lisovenko has a PhD in Economics from Kiev State Economic University, a Master of Economics in Finance from Kiev State Economic University, and an MBA from Kennedy Western University. Vitalii also participated in a Student Exchange Program at the University of Michigan. In 2018, they completed a corporate governance educational program at Ukrainian Corporate Governance Academy & INSEAD.
