Process Integration Engineer at Ferric

Nanda Kasani (Ph.D.) has work experience in two organizations. From January 2023 to the present, they worked as a Process Integration Engineer at Ferric, Inc. Prior to that, from August 2016 to December 2022, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia. In this role, they were involved in the research and development of highly efficient Microfluidic filter devices (Lab-on-a-chip) for Circulating Tumor Cells (CTC) isolation from peripheral blood. Their responsibilities included conceptualizing, designing, simulating, fabricating, testing, and analyzing filter devices. They also had expertise in SU-8 photolithography, PDMS soft lithography techniques, and semiconductor fabrication.

Nanda Kasani pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Goa from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2018, Kasani attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Most recently, Kasani completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2019 and 2022.
