Samira Zali Asl has extensive experience in the engineering field. Samira began their career in 2008 as a Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where they developed two chips for their PhD research. In 2012, they joined SiTime as a Senior Analog/Mixed signal Circuit Designer and Intern. In 2014, they moved to imec as a Senior System and Circuit Designer, where they were a technical chip lead for the first version of Smart Contact Lens IC. In 2016, they became a Technical Committee Member at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC). In 2018, they joined Ferric, Inc. as a VP of Engineering, Director Of Engineering, and Senior IC Design Engineer. Finally, in 2019, they became a Technical Program Committee Member at Symposia on VLSI Technology and Circuits.
Samira Zali Asl received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Analog/Mixed Signal IC design from Oregon State University between 2008 and 2012. Samira also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran, which they obtained between 2003 and 2008.
