Ileana Rodríguez León

Ileana Rodríguez León has over 19 years of work experience in the fields of pharmaceuticals, research, and protein science. ileana is currently employed at Ferring Pharmaceuticals as a Lead Scientist since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Ferring Pharmaceuticals from December 2018 to March 2020. Before joining Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Ileana worked at Novo Nordisk as a Senior Research Scientist from March 2013 to November 2018. ileana also has experience working at the University of Southern Denmark as a part of the Protein Research group from June 2008 to February 2013. Prior to that, they served as an Associate Scientist at FIOCRUZ - Fundação Oswaldo Cruz from February 2004 to February 2006. Ileana started their career as a Scientist at the Centro de Ingeniería Genética y Biotecnología from September 2001 to January 2003.

Ileana Rodríguez León completed a Licentiate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Havana from 1996 to 2001. From 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Fiocruz in RJ Brazil. ileana then completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Southern Denmark between 2008 and 2013.
