Karin Walhagen

Principal Scientist at Ferring Pharmaceuticals

Karin Walhagen has extensive work experience at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, starting in 1985. Karin began as a team leader and later worked as a research scientist. In 1996, they became a PhD student and eventually transitioned into a role as a senior research scientist. In 2002, they joined Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S as an associate director. In 2004, they became an associate director at Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S. In 2009, they moved to Ferring Pharmaceuticals as a project manager and later became a principal scientist in 2017.

Karin Walhagen completed a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Leiden University from 2000-2002. Prior to that, they were a PhD student in Analytical Chemistry at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 1998-2000. Karin also holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, which they obtained from 1981-1985.
