Nicolas Esmail

Nicolas Esmail is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Global Science and Technology (MSAT) at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since April 2023, Nicolas leads new product launches and transfers while providing expertise across internal sites and CMOs. Prior to this role, Nicolas held various positions at GSK from October 2013 to February 2023, including Manufacturing Site Head responsible for bulk production of the Pertussis Vaccine, and Quality Head for Global Strategic Partnerships. Earlier career experience includes roles at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Engagement Manager focusing on operational performance in the chemical and pharma industries, as well as production and engineering management positions at INNOTHERA and Alcan. Nicolas holds a Master's degree in ElectroMechanics from Université catholique de Louvain and CentraleSupélec.
