Ofir Yahav has a diverse range of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ofir started their career at Teva Pharmaceuticals in 1991, where they served as a Critical Systems Manager, ensuring the proper functioning and validation of clean water systems, clean steam, HVAC, and overseeing the installation of new facilities and systems. From 1995 to 2001, they worked as a Maintenance Manager, managing technicians and engineers and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
In 2002, Yahav transitioned into the role of Project Manager at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for the procurement, design, and characterization of complex production lines and equipment for sterile products manufacturing. Ofir continued in this role until 2011, when they became a Senior Project Manager and Engineering Expert, specializing in sterile production sites in Israel and Europe.
In 2012, Yahav joined Protalix Biotherapeutics as an Engineering Manager, leading a team of engineers and project managers. Ofir then moved on to Ferring Pharmaceuticals in 2014, where they held various positions including Director and Head of the Technical Department, leading the engineering, maintenance, and site services teams. Currently, they serve as the Associate Director of Engineering and Maintenance Strategy Program Manager, overseeing the improvement of maintenance across the entire company and acting as the Product Owner in an ERP global project.
Ofir Yahav completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Flow and Heat transfer at Tel Aviv University from 1987 to 1991. From 2001 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Heriot-Watt University.
