Sophie Naftalovich

Sophie Naftalovich is an experienced Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) professional with a robust background in managing EHS programs across various industries, including pharmaceuticals and water treatment. Currently serving as the Environment, Health and Safety Manager at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since January 2016, Sophie conducts incident investigations, industrial hygiene monitoring, job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and drives mitigation efforts. Previously, as Corporate EHS Manager at Canon, Sophie oversaw EHS programs for approximately 800 sites across the US. Sophie's experience at Teva Pharmaceuticals and Perrigo further highlights expertise in global EHS auditing and regulatory compliance, respectively. Early career roles included directing hazardous substance regulations for the Israel EPA and managing a wastewater pilot plant project. Sophie holds a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
