Beatriz García-Cos Muntañola

Born in Bilbao, Spain, Beatriz García-Cos Muntañola is a business executive who currently serves as the CFO of Ferroglobe. Beatriz has over 20 years of experience in finance and has held various leadership positions in companies such as Bekaert, Trafigura, Vestas, and PPG Industries.

García-Cos Muntañola began their career in 1998 as a finance manager for PPG Industries. Beatriz later became the director of finance for EMEA & LATAM at Vestas in 2006. In 2012, they were appointed as the CFO of Trafigura, where they served for four years before moving to Bekaert in 2016. At Bekaert, García-Cos Muntañola was responsible for leading the transformation office for finance and overseeing the company's accounting operations, investor relations, treasury and credit management, tax compliance, and business performance. Beatriz left Bekaert in 2019 to join Ferroglobe as its CFO.

García-Cos Muntañola has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Deusto and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Beatriz García-Cos Muntañola studied at IESE Business School, where they obtained an AMP. Beatriz later went on to study for a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Universitat de Barcelona, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In addition, they have also completed a Development Program for the Management Team at IMD.

Beatriz García-Cos Muntañola reports to Marco Levi, CEO. They are on a team with José María Merino Matesanz - VP, HR, Thomas Wiesner - Chief Legal Officer, and Gaurav Mehta - EVP, Corporate Strategy & Transformation Director.
