Imran Amirani

Imran Amirani has extensive experience in general management and global business leadership within the high technology capital equipment sector, currently serving as Managing Director and General Manager at Ferrotec since November 2008. Imran specializes in compound semiconductors, RF wireless technologies, power photonics, HDD storage, sensors, and automation, with a focus on driving revenue and EBITDA growth while managing operational performance and P&L responsibilities. Previously, Imran held roles as Director of Sales and Regional Sales Manager, emphasizing customer strategy and relationship development. Prior industry experience includes roles as a Sales Engineer at Edwards Vacuum and Research Associate at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Educational qualifications consist of an MBA in International Business and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, along with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Imran also completed a program on negotiations at Harvard Law School in 2015.
