Don Harris is an experienced professional with a strong background in environmental management and operations. As General Manager at Ferrous Processing and Trading since November 2018, Don leads launch activities and operations in Mexico for one of North America's largest privately-held scrap metal companies. Concurrently, as President of Amerris Consulting, LLC since January 2014, Don aids new businesses in navigating the complexities of starting operations in Mexico. Previous roles include Operations Manager at ChemicoMays, LLC, where Don oversaw chemical management programs for major manufacturing facilities, and Senior Environmental Engineer at General Motors, where responsibilities included implementing air and water quality regulations. Don holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science and two Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Chemistry and Business Administration.
