Juan Manuel Freire Iglesias

Juan Manuel Freire Iglesias has a diverse work experience in various companies. Juan Manuel started their career in 1998 at FCC as a Street Cleansing employee. Juan Manuel then moved to Ferrovial, where they worked as an Urban Services Senior Technician and later as the Ferroser/CESPA Street Cleansing Service Manager. Juan Manuel also worked at Amey as a Bid Advisor before returning to Ferrovial as a Senior Urban Service Advisor. Juan Manuel held the role of Proprietary Solutions Manager and later became the Head of Scientific Affairs, where they managed collaboration between Ferrovial and MIT. In 2017, they co-founded MIDE Global, a platform that aims to develop the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem in Madrid. Juan's work experience demonstrates their expertise in urban services management, bid advising, fleet management, and entrepreneurship.

Juan Manuel Freire Iglesias has a MA in Engineering Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, specializing in applied physics, particularly nuclear reactors, materials, and renewable energies. Juan Manuel also holds a degree in Leadership & Innovation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has completed the Programa de Desarrollo del Liderazgo and Programa de Gestión Directiva (Executive Management Program) from IE Business School, with a focus on administration and general management. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Introduction to Prompt Engineering for Generative AI from LinkedIn in 2023.
