Lorena Segura has a diverse range of work experience. Lorena started their career as an Intern at Saba Aparcaments Grup Abertis, where they supported the CTO/CIO and worked on an international bidding process. Lorena then joined CCL Consulting & Construction Logistics GmbH as a Trainee in Project Management.
In 2012, Lorena joined Ferrovial as a Senior Analyst in the Cities Division. Lorena later became a Project Manager at the Centre of Excellence for Cities, where they successfully launched and completed two urban innovation programs across the Local Government portfolio of UK Clients. Lorena then moved to the Innovation & Processes Department, working as a Project Manager. Lorena eventually became the Head of Innovation Strategy & Portfolio Management, responsible for overseeing the innovation portfolio and strategy.
Throughout their career, Lorena has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing significant budgets. Their work experience showcases their expertise in project management, innovation, and strategic planning.
Lorena Segura completed their education with a Technological Baccalaureate from Saint Ignacious School from 1991 to 2003. Later, from 2008 to 2011, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2008-2009, they also pursued additional studies in Civil Engineering through the UPC-Europe Scholarship at ETH Zürich. Furthermore, Lorena pursued their International Master of Leadership for Civil Engineers from 2011 to 2012 at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, specializing in Social Skills and Business Management. In 2014, they received the PRINCE 2 - Foundation & Practitioner certificate in Project Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
