Brandon Law

Director of Land at Fervo Energy

Brandon Law has worked in the energy and environmental industries since 1997. Brandon began their career as a Research Associate at Texas Tech University and TTU Health Sciences Center, where they worked in cellular, analytical, and biological laboratories and as a field scientist on several wildlife and matrix sampling expeditions. In 2005, they became a GIS Cartographer at the USDA, where they created parcel maps with block, lot, survey, owner and abstract information. From 2006 to 2007, they served as an Environmental Consultant at KBA EnviroScience, where they led the combined environmental-GIS approach for several large scale gas, oil, and electric and transportation industry projects. Brandon then worked as a Self Employed Principal Consultant from 2013 to 2014, and as a Contracted Landman for a Western Rockies acquisition project from February 2015 to March 2014. From 2014 to 2020, they worked as a Principal & Landman at Great Basin Resources, and is currently the Director of Land at Fervo Energy.

Brandon Law obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences; Ecology and Environmental BiologyChemistry from Texas Tech University between 1997 and 2001. Brandon then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Natural Resource Analysis and Managment from Texas Tech University between 2000 and 2006. In April 2017, they obtained a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) from the American Association of Professional Landmen. In June 2006, they obtained a Wetland Delineation certification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
