Gabriel Malek has a diverse work experience. Gabriel began in 2017 as Co-Chair of the Board for the Dwight Hall Socially Responsible Investment Fund. In 2019, they worked as a Climate Partnership and Networks Intern for the NYC Office of the Mayor, and as a Water Management Research Intern for Resilient Chennai at 100 Resilient Cities - Pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation. In 2020, they were a Project Manager, Investor Influence, Investor Influence Coordinator, and Research Fellow, Investor Climate Advocacy for the Environmental Defense Fund. In 2021, they joined Initiative on Climate Risk and Resilience Law as a Member and On Deck as a Climate Tech Fellow. Finally, in 2022, they began working as Chief of Staff for Fervo Energy, Contributor for Climate Tech VC, and Deputy Chief Of Staff to Mark Carney for Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) and Bloomberg LP.
Gabriel Malek obtained their Bachelor's degree from Yale University in American Studies and Anthropology. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma from St. John's School.
